1. What we collect

Account information (name, email, company), the plans and documents you upload, the estimates and pricing you create, and usage data. Payments are handled by Stripe — we do not store your full card number.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve the Service, generate your estimates, process payments, send transactional email (like “estimate ready” and billing notices), and support you.

3. AI processing

To generate takeoffs, the plans and related data you upload are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We send only what's needed to produce your estimate.

4. Sharing

We share data with the service providers that help us operate: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI takeoffs), Resend (email delivery), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us. Some data may be retained where required by law.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to run the Service, plus minimal analytics to understand usage.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new effective date.
